The Cottbus
The elaborately designed locomotive symbolizes the history of the Cottbus vehicle repair from the steam locomotive refurbishment to the most modern plant for complicated maintenance of the ICEs in a special paintwork.
Prototype: Deutsche Bahn AG (DB AG) general-purpose locomotive 218 497-6 in the current version from DB Fahrzeuginstandhaltung GmbH Cottbus, with the Märklin and PIKO company logos below the driver's cab window. Diesel-hydraulic locomotive with roof design to match the MTU 12V 956 TB 11 engine. With parallel exhaust gas ducts and a V-shaped Behr cooling system.

Digital sound with many functions Model: with built-in digital decoder and sound generator for operation with mfx and DCC. Motor with flywheel, 4 axles powered, traction tires. Headlights and taillights that change with the direction of travel, warm white LEDs, driver's cab lighting, can be controlled digitally. Kinematics for close coupling. The headlights change over with the direction of travel and work in analogue mode. Attached handle bars.
