In addition to the successful electric locomotives, Siemens also presented a diesel version of the Vectron at Innotrans 2010.
With the introduction of dual mode, however, production at Siemens was discontinued, so that only around 10 copies are on the road in Germany and Austria.
Like the Hobbytrain electric locomotive variant, the diesel locomotive is also equipped with a Next18 SST and space for a loudspeaker.
The model has exceptional detailing and processing (finely executed, etched and separately inserted fan grilles, mirrored side windows, high beam digitally on and dimmable, and much more).
