The E 10 series (from 1968: 110) was the most important express train locomotive on the German Federal Railroad for many years. Starting with road number 288, they received a new locomotive body. This ensured better aerodynamics, but also the name "crease". The locomotives reached a top speed of 150 km/h with an output of 3,620 kW. With the ocean blue and ivory color scheme starting in 1974, numerous 110s were repainted to this livery on the occasion of revisions.
