Electric locomotive BR 192 Vectron Smartron EGP, Ep.VI
Since its launch at Innotrans 2010, the Vectron from Siemens has become a real bestseller - over 750 machines to over 30 different customers in more than 17 countries, and there is no end in sight. Almost every day there are new variants that drive across Europe. Thanks to its multi-system capability, the Vectron is the ideal locomotive for use on the tracks of Europe. SBB Cargo machines run from Switzerland to the Netherlands or TXL Vectron from northern Germany to Italy. The Vectron is now also at home in Eastern Europe and the Balkans. Due to the excellent detailing and workmanship, this unique Gauge N model is enjoying increasing popularity.
Siemens has been offering the Smartron for Germany since 2018, a preconfigured locomotive that is currently only available in Capri blue. The Smartron is particularly interesting for smaller and domestic German operating utility companies and enables customers to operate cost-effectively with high operational reliability.
