Piko 40254 - Diesel multiple unit rail bus with control car track measurement train DB AG Ep.V 2-part

New for 2022: Variant of the diesel railcar in the livery of a DB AG track measurement train in Era V. The PIKO models of the railcar and the control car embody, like their DB prototypes, functionally reliable constructions. The railcar model is powered by a micromotor, which is equipped with two precisely dimensioned flywheel masses to ensure perfect running characteristics. The drive acts on both axles of the railcar. Since the railcar and control car can be coupled to each other via a current-conducting short coupling kinematics, two additional (and thus four) axles can be used for safe power pickup when using control cars. The railcar has a digital interface PluX16 according to NEM 658. The lighting functions of both vehicles can be switched separately. A clear view is possible through the passenger compartments of railcars and control cars. The railcar can also be used prototypically as a railcar for transporting individual freight cars.
