DB AG, 3 pcs. "Rollende Raststätte" passenger coach set in oriental red/white livery, consisting of 2 x Avm and 1 x WGm, epoch five
In April 1995, Deutsche Bahn AG set up its "Berlin-Shuttle" between Grunewald and Lehrte near Hanover for the super saver fare of 99 marks - the only condition: the travelers had to take the Germans' dearest child with them on a piggyback. An Intercity with car transport wagons now commuted twice a day between Berlin-Grunewald and Lehrte. The purpose of the 'Rollende Raststätte' was to relieve the constantly overcrowded A2 between Berlin and Hanover. For this purpose, individual cars were labeled accordingly. In addition to conventional dining cars, the DB AG WGmh 804.0 painted in the InterRegio color scheme was also used.
