INFORMATION ON THE MODEL
Due to the increasing renewal of the car fleet and the introduction of new railcars are at the DB many "Halberstadt" dispensable. This resulted in the possibility for the Hungarian State Railways to acquire a total of about 300 ABy and Byz cars for the modernization of their own vehicle fleet from the DB. Almost all of the cars are presented in a gray-blue livery, which has been adapted to the DB color scheme. The cars are used by the MÁV subsidiary MÁV-START.
