KATO offers an excellent track N-track system with a gray speckled trackbed body (fine grain) that is accurate to scale, extremely stable and ideal for all N-gauge models. The ballast body is made of elastic plastic and is about 25mm wide. The tracks can easily be connected with each other via plug-in connections and snap in with an audible "click". The metal rail shoes are supported by additional plastic connectors on the bottom. This protects the rail shoe while ensuring a perfect, accurate and reliable connection. If you want to use UNITRACK in the future and have previously installed tracks from another manufacturer, the transition is no problem thanks to the transition track from KATO. The track bed of the transition track is recessed at one end and provided with a commercial rail shoe.
