Technical specifications:
- Power supply (input voltage): with AC voltage: min. 14 volts, max. 19 volts. with pure DC voltage: min: 14 volts, max. 24 Volt It makes sense to select an input voltage that is approximately 2 V higher when supplied with DC voltage, approximately equal to or slightly smaller when supplying AC voltage than the set output voltage (voltage at the track). This avoids unnecessary waste heat in the device, which can lead to premature thermal shutdown.
- Output voltage (track voltage): The track voltage is adjustable between 11V and 22V in increments of 0.5V. Under load, this voltage may be lower depending on the transformer used. By default, an output voltage of 16 V is set.
- Output current: Depending on the transformer used, its voltage and the set track voltage, the continuous current that the LZV200 amplifier can deliver is different. Example: With transformer TR150 and setting the track voltage to 16 V, the continuous current is 4.3 A.
- Overload protection: Thermal overload protection. The overcurrent shutdown takes place after approx. 200 ms with permanent overcurrent (eg short circuit).
- RailCom detector: The LV103 is equipped with a global RailCom detector. This detector receives data sent by decoders in channel 2 of the RailCom packets. These data are forwarded via the C, D, E lines to the LZV200 control center.
