Bucket dredgers are continuously conveying large excavators, which are mainly used in water and open pit mining. The basic principle of a bucket chain excavator is to dig the goods with buckets, which are attached to an endless chain. The bucket chain runs on a drive and a Umlenkturas and consists of Schaken called articulated members, the buckets are welded directly to individual bucket hooks. The chain is driven by means of a powerful electric motor incl. Gearbox or an electric motor with frequency converter without gearbox.
The bucket chain excavator fits on normal 9mm track. The field railway in the background is also part of the Modellbahn Union assortment, but not included in this product.
The highly detailed parts are made of resin in 3D printing and are delivered unpainted. The accessories can be processed and painted with standard tools and colors (eg with Revell Email or Revell Aqua Color).
Our accessories are printed on the latest generation of 3D printers using stereolithography. In the printer, a UV-sensitive resin is cured with a laser in thin layers with a thickness of 0.050 to 0.025 mm (50 to 25 µm). After printing the parts are cleaned and post-cured. This produces very highly detailed models. The parts can be painted with the usual hobby paints such as Revell Enamel or Revell Aqua Color.
