About the original: The Lada Niva 1600 (VAZ-2121) was designed for villagers and farmers of the former Soviet-Union that lived in rural areas. Althought the Niva is a very capable 4x4 the vehicle is fitted with a passenger car like body. It was the first VAZ that was not based on an existing Fiat model. The Lada Niva is a very popular all terrain vehicle and is still in production. The shown model is a replica of the initial version (1976-1994).

This RAILNSCALE product was manufactured by DM-Toys in Germany in the usual RAILNSCALE quality.

The highly detailed parts are made of 3D printed plastic and are delivered unpainted. The kits can be processed and painted with standard tools and colours (e.g. with Revell Email or Revell Aqua Color). The best results are obtained when a primer is used first.
