Christmas Pyramids find their origin in medieval times and combined the traditions of using light and green branches to protect one selves from the doom of the dark days. As late as the 1930's the pyramids were first used outdoor and up to 1990 were mainly be found in eastern Germany. However, since the unification of east and west Germany they can be found throughout the country as a focus point on many Christmas markets.
The animated model is lasercut from plywood and decorated with many figures and candles.
