PROTOTYPE
This type of garbage cans is widely used in the world today. Although these bins have largely been replaced by plastic versions in recent years, there are still plenty of metal bins around, albeit mostly in a slightly more dilapidated condition.

This type of garbage can was in use for many years and it was common to see them lined up and down the front yards of townhouses, as well as hidden in porches, sheds and in various locations around residential and commercial buildings.
