The modern-looking building stood in the AW Mülheim Speldorf until 2008. It was built directly on the north-west side of the forge and housed the metalworking shop and a warehouse. After the factory was closed, the companies of the city of Mülheim and the Mülheimer Verkehrs Gesellschaft continued to use the building.
