About the original: Volvo released the second generation of the Volvo V70 in 2000. The styling of V70 combined an aerodynamic rounded front and a classic Volvo estate car shape at the back. The V70 received a mild facelift, which was taken as example for this scaled down miniature. The production of this generation ended in 2007.
