Prototype information: Since 2010, the modern Allegra multiple units have been running safely on the Rhaetian Railway network and chauffeuring commuters in the Chur agglomeration. The three-part dual-voltage multiple units run on direct and alternating current. The power system can even be changed while the train is moving, which means that the time-consuming change of locomotive in Pontresina is no longer necessary. The Allegra is powerful, elegant and comfortable at the same time and cuts a fine figure on any model landscape.
Due to the tighter radii in Japan, the train is coupled relatively far apart - but there is a separate set of couplings and bellows with a closer spacing.
